Today I am out of town at at conference for work. I have really been looking forward to this, and I’m really excited to gain more knowledge about children’s ministry! Today I am going to share with you a few of my favorite blogs:
I have mentioned Heather’s blog several times in a few different posts. I started following Heather a year ago, when I first started my fitness journey. Heather shares exercise tips, race recaps, Disney reviews, recipes, and scenes from her day-to-day life. What else is awesome about Heather? She is a travel agent with Travel with the Magic, and she recently booked my rooms for the Princess Half Marathon!
Pam and Christine are a mother-daughter duo who share stories of their many races, and of course Disney, too! I absolutely love this blog, and they were kind enough to share some of my Tower of Terror 10 Miler photos with their readers. They blog about a variety of things, but I especially like reading their runDisney recaps. It calms my nerves a little bit to read these as I prepare for my runDisney events. Be sure to visit their blog, you might see my name pop up on one of their upcoming posts!
Meghann has been a blogger for a very long time, but I just recently discovered her blog. She is about to do an Ironman triathlon! I like her blog because she competes in events that I’ve never thought to do, and it’s fun to learn about events I’m way too intimated to try. She is extremely dedicated to her training, and I aspire to have her determination. You go girl!
Amy is the voice behind Long Drive Journey. I really enjoy her recipes. She has a “Veggie of the Month” and readers submit recipes that include that particular vegetable. I do not like most vegetables so I look forward to reading this, and finding new ways to add them to my diet. I also really like her honesty. If a run was difficult, she’ll tell you. If she doesn’t feel like working out, again she will let you know. I feel like so many bloggers try to be too perfect. You know the ones who PR in every race, never experience any difficulties during a workout, and never have a bad diet day? They kind of bore me. I want to know how to overcome injuries, and celebrate when I find a new vegetable I like. That’s how Amy is. Oh, and she is a fellow Sweat Pink Ambassador-yay for a Sweat Pink Sister!
Cori shares similar experiences as everyone else that I’ve mentioned. One thing that I like about her is that she admits that all athletes are different, and that all of us have a different journey. She shares really inspirational quotes on instagram that I just love. She lives in North Carolina – my home state! Check out her wedding pictures – she is gorgeous!
Be sure to check these ladies out and give them some love. They motivate me, and inspire me daily. Who inspires you?
What I Ate (yesterday):
1/2 cinnamon crunch bagel from Panera, walnut honey cream cheese, and a bottle of water
~Lunch~ and this is where it all went downhill….
We went to a cafeteria-style restaurant. Roast, corn, mac & cheese, corn bread, and pie…one bad thing about being southern…our food tastes so good, but is so, so bad for you!
